International student need to apply for a J-1 visa to come to the US for an internship. International students studying at a U.S. college or university must take additional steps to obtain Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT) in order to be authorized to intern in the United States during the summer. Please feel free to contact our counselor for more information.
*The visa cost is not included in the program fee.
Please note: this can be a lengthy process; all admitted applicants are strongly encouraged to confirm their place in the program as soon as possible and begin the visa process immediately.
Insurance
All USA insternship participants need to buy travel insurances and medical plans to cover expenses on injury, acute illness, and accident for all program participants before you start your internship.
Elite Intern requires that all interns to have international health insurance that is vetted by Elite intern so they are adequately covered while overseas. Insurance is covered in the tuition.
